Privacy policy
This policy explains what information the Prepimo app and this website collect, why, who processes it and the choices you have. Prepimo is provided by Gravitarious ("we", "us"), a company registered in Pakistan with the SECP.
1. Information we collect
Account information
When you sign in with Google, with Apple or with an email address and password, we receive your email address, a unique account identifier and, where the sign-in provider shares it, your first and last name. You can edit your name in the app. If you use Apple's "Hide My Email", we receive only the relay address. Passwords are handled by our authentication provider and are stored only in hashed form; we never see them.
Study progress and settings
To track your progress and sync it across devices we store your answers to questions (the question, the option you chose, whether it was correct, your optional confidence tag and the time taken), your tests and practice sessions, flashcard results, bookmarks, streak, daily goal, experience points (XP), badges and your settings (for example Islamiat language, chosen optional subjects, reminders and leaderboard name style).
Reports you send
If you report an error in a question, we store the question, the reason, your optional comment (up to 500 characters), your account and the time. If you report another learner's leaderboard name, we store the report, the reason and your account so we can review it.
Analytics and crash data
The app uses Google Firebase Analytics to understand how features are used (for example "test completed" or "flashcards opened") and Firebase Crashlytics to receive crash reports (device model, operating system version, app version and the technical details of the crash). These tools use a random app-instance identifier. We do not send your name, email address or the content of your answers or comments to them, and we do not use them for advertising.
Support emails
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message.
We do not collect your contacts, photos, precise location, or payment card details, and the app shows no third-party advertising.
2. How we use your information
- To provide the app: sign-in, syncing your progress, unlocking Premium and showing your statistics.
- To run the weekly leaderboard, if it is switched on (see below).
- To review and fix reported errors in our content and to moderate reported names.
- To keep the app working: fixing crashes, preventing abuse and keeping it secure.
- To improve the app using aggregated usage information.
- To reply to you when you contact us, and to send essential account emails (for example confirming your email or resetting your password).
We use your information because it is needed to provide the service you asked for, because you consented (for example to optional reminders), or for our legitimate interest in keeping the app reliable and safe. We do not sell your personal information.
3. The leaderboard and your display name
The weekly leaderboard shows other learners a display name, your rank and your XP for the week. The first time you open it, you choose how your name appears:
- First name + initial (for example "Ayesha K."), selected by default;
- Full name;
- Initials;
- Hide me: you are removed from the public board and only you see your own rank.
You can change this at any time in Profile → Leaderboard. A change can take up to an hour to appear. Your email address and account ID are never shown to other learners. Names are checked against a list of offensive words. Other learners can report a name as offensive, impersonating someone or containing contact details; we review reported names and may keep the name, replace it with "Learner" or remove it from the board.
4. Purchases
Premium subscriptions are bought through Google Play or the Apple App Store. Payment is processed entirely by Google or Apple; we never receive or store your card or bank details. We use RevenueCat to validate purchases and manage your subscription status. RevenueCat receives your purchase receipts and an identifier linked to your Prepimo account, and we store your subscription status (plan, whether it is active, expiry date and store).
5. Service providers
We use these providers to run Prepimo. They process information on our behalf, under their own security and privacy commitments, and may store it on servers outside Pakistan.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or users' safety, or as part of a sale or reorganisation of our business (in which case this policy continues to apply).
6. How long we keep information
- Account, progress and settings: while your account exists. They are deleted when you delete your account.
- Leaderboard snapshots: the last four weeks; rows for deleted accounts are removed at the next update (within about an hour).
- Error reports: kept to maintain our content, but unlinked from your account when you delete it.
- Name reports: deleted when either the reporter's or the reported learner's account is deleted.
- Analytics and crash data: kept by Firebase under its retention settings (no longer than 14 months for analytics event data and 90 days for crash reports).
- Backups: our encrypted database backups are overwritten on a rolling basis, so deleted data disappears from them within 30 days.
- Support emails: as long as needed to help you, then deleted.
7. Deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time in the app: Profile → Delete account. Without the app, email support@prepimo.com from your account's email address. Full details are on the account deletion page. Deleting your account does not cancel a store subscription; cancel it in Google Play or the App Store.
8. Your choices and rights
- See and correct your name and settings in the app.
- Choose how your name appears on the leaderboard, or hide it.
- Turn study reminders on or off.
- Ask us for a copy of your personal information, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing support@prepimo.com. We reply within 30 days.
We handle personal information in line with the laws of Pakistan that apply to us, including the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act, 2016, and will update our practices as Pakistan's data protection law develops. If you are outside Pakistan, you may have additional rights under your local law; contact us to use them.
9. Security
Information is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Database access is restricted so each user can read only their own data, and administrative access is limited to the people who run Prepimo. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will act promptly if something goes wrong.
10. Age
Prepimo is intended for CSS exam aspirants aged 16 and over. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, email support@prepimo.com and we will delete it.
11. This website
prepimo.com has no cookies, no analytics and no tracking scripts. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes basic request information (such as IP address) to deliver and protect the site.
12. Changes and contact
We may update this policy. We will change the effective date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app. Questions or requests: support@prepimo.com.
